Hi, I'm Elissa - a self-proclaimed travel junkie :)
This is me by the way during our Cebu Trip last January 2014 |
I'll be posting the first entry for this blog as my sister is currently preoccupied with her post-travel high from a weekend off in Zambales with her college friends...so I ended up doing the job.
(By the way, me & my sister will both be managing this blog)
And! we'll be posting our travel adventures (hopefully) from 2010 up to the most recent, so please bear with us as we try and remember the highlights of those awesome trips :) ... after all, this blog is all about the documentation of our trips so it wouldn't hurt if we include the previous ones.
Let's start shall we?
My first official trip to a much farther place in the country (not just in Tagaytay or Batangas) was during our PASOA Convention in Zambales ('coz my sis just came home from Zambales, get it?haha *kasi di ako kasama!) It was a fun-filled weekend with my all of my college friends & teachers. One that I will definitely remember for the rest of my life (oh hala! korni na!). Below are some of the pictures:
| Here's me (last 2010) posing in front of Olongapo City Convention Center during the 1st day of our trip. |
| RK Hotel - where we stayed the night |
| Aaaaaaand of course a bunch of photo ops in the hotel premises before selfies even hit the mainstream... |
The second day of the tour was pretty much a day-off from all the arduous school activities. We went to Treetop Adventure, Zoobic Safari & Duty Free.
At Treetop Adventure, all students had Package A which includes: Canopy Ride, Canopy Walk, Trekking & Jungle Survival Demo. Here's the link for their complete packages :)

| Me and My friends being adorably dorky :) |
| Another highlight of our Treetop Adventure was the Trekking & Jungle Survival Demo where we were taught how to actually build fire with nothing but your machete & some bamboo |
| Some cuteness overload from the animals of Zoobic Safari |
| We had to ride a caged jeepney before going inside the Tiger Safari. They actually have this option where you can purchase some meat to feed the tigers and attract them to come closer to the vehicle |
| And of course, one final group pic of OFA Students before heading home |
So there you have it, my first official weekend getaway during my college senior year. It wasn't as grand as my other getaways, but it's still an experience worth telling.
