Day 2 - Sidetrip to Macau
On the 2nd day of our Hongkong Adventure, we decided to go on a daytrip to Macau via water ferry. We had to grab some breakfast first from Chungking Mansions, where we also exchanged some money for our trip.
When we arrived at the ferry terminal, we had some time to kill before we board so we roamed around the area.

Time to board!
I remember we got some discount for our tickets because it was my birthday month. Of course thanks to my sister who arranges everything.

The ferry ride was just an hour long trip so its not that long. After immigration, we jumped right into the bus going to the Venetian Macau.
Aaaaaaaand we stayed there for how many hours because WE GOT LOST. We didn't know how to go out, but we had a great time there.
 |
| There was a very big Christmas Tree on the center of the casino |
 |
| Before they created this in the Philippines, I saw it first in the Venetian Macau - the grand canal |
 |
| Find my sister :P |
 |
| My "Sakit sa Ulo" (Headache) pose after we managed to go out of the very very veryyyyy big casino |
So we took another bus to the other side of Macau when we finally got out of the Venetian. All casinos (i think?) in Macau have a free shuttle bus to take you to their respective casinos so no need to pay for taxi and everything.

| There's a carriage there as well :) |
We planned to go to that street going to the Ruins of St. Paul where it was rumored that you can get a free taste of everything from Bakwa (Chinese Beef Jerky/Ham) and other food items until you reach the top and feel full without spending a dime.

| My first time tasting Bakwa! It's like bacon and ham merged together! #foodislife |

So.... that's about it for our second day.
After that we just went back to the ferry port to catch our trip back to Hongkong.
3rd day will be on my next post. In the meantime you guys can check my post on our first day in HK on the link below, Thanks!
