Day 3 - Big Buddha &
Symphony of Lights
Third day of our trip to the wonderful Hongkong, we visited the Tian Tan Buddha in Lantau Island. To get there, we had to take the Ngong Ping 360 Cable car ride.

Here's me and sis again, ready to seize the day, charr

We were able to get some discount for the Crystal Cabin by the way, courtesy of my sis again ;)

That was my first time riding a crystal cabin cable car, which by the way feels like you're floating in the air (not suitable for people who are scared of heights).
The ride itself took around 30 mins to get to the top of Lantau Island.
When we reached the top, we attended the free Tea Ceremony.
| I forgot her name na, but she was the one who showed us the traditional way of making tea. |
We roamed around and took a couple more pictures of the Ngong Ping Village.

I love this shot :) hahahaha when my sister photobombed an unsuspecting priest.
According to my research, you have to take 368 steps to see
Mr. Buddha chillin at the top. So you guys can imagine the
happiness we felt when we finally reached there.
Hi Mr. Buddha

| JUST.LOOK.AT.THAT.VIEW!! |
After deciding that we were satisfied with our pictures,
we then proceeded to visit the rest of the Po Lin Monastery.
| Here's me attempting to do a jumpshot, but failed miserably. |
| So much insense besh... |
There's even a souvenir shop, but if you're a cheapskate like us, you will never buy anything from these shops hehehe |
| Weh? hehehe |
After Ngong Ping, we wanted to see the Symphony of Lights in Victoria Harbour. It's a nightly lights show showcasing the amazing lights of the Hongkong Skyline (edi wow). Its named as the "World's Largest Permanent Light & Sound Show"
My camera has a problem with darkness :( so sorry for the blurred images
| Clocktower |
Lastly, we saw the 1881 Heritage which at that time, was showcasing a very big Christmas Display.

I was actually really trying to aim at someone I deeply hate.. AHAHAHAHA
So that's about it for our 3rd day, 2 more days to go!
